Newcomers & Neighbors is more than a club. It’s a community of women who gather to build friendships, share interests, and get involved in Waco.
Whether you’re new to the area or simply ready to expand your circle, you’ll find connection through monthly luncheons, Special Interest Groups, and meaningful social activities throughout the year.
Annual membership is just $35 and includes access to all Special Interest Group activities and club events.
Prospective members are welcome to attend two activities before joining. There is no limit to the number of members. We love growing our circle.
Membership Information & Policies
Dues
Annual dues are $35 and are billed annually on your membership anniversary date.
You’ll receive advance notification prior to your renewal, and dues can be paid securely through the website.
Meetings
General Meetings
Held the third Wednesday of each month
11:30 a.m.
Board Meetings
Held the same day as general meetings.
Luncheon Reservations
Reservations must be made online at:
newcomersandneighborsofwaco.com
Deadline: Noon on the Friday prior to the luncheon.
Payment is made directly to the Baylor Club at the luncheon via credit or debit card only.
Cancellations
Cancellations after the deadline will be billed unless a late reservation fills your seat.
No Shows
Members who reserve but do not attend and have not arranged a substitute will be billed.
Walk-Ins
Seating for members without reservations is based on availability and will be charged.
Reservation List
If you reserved and your name is missing, you will be seated once verified by the Reservations Director.
Board Service Guidelines
An elected board member may hold only one office per year and may serve in the same elected role for up to two consecutive years. Certain appointed roles may serve longer.
Additional Notes
Members may receive one door prize per meeting.
